Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Columbus, GA

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   • Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients.
   • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
   • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
   • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
2. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
   • Communicate effectively with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare team members.
   • Participate in care conferences and contribute insights to improve patient outcomes.
3. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
   • Document all nursing care activities and interventions.
   • Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards and protocols.
4. Education and Support:
   • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and aftercare instructions.
   • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
5. Quality Assurance:
   • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
   • Follow established protocols and guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care.
6. Adherence to Regulations:
   • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including maintaining licensure and certifications.
   • Stay informed about updates in nursing practices and regulations.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• CPR certification.
• Current TB test.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
